I may not always love you,

Sweet wonderful you,

You make me happy with the things you do.

My gift is my song, and this one’s for you.

Take my hand,

Take my whole life too,

Time after time;

Especially for you.

If every word I said, could make you laugh,

I’d talk forever.

Time after time, there’s nowhere to hide;

Your love I’ll remember forever.

My love is alive,

Way down in my heart,

I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day;

Although we are miles apart.

If you’re lost, you can look and you will find me,

Time after time.

There’s a place for us,

A time and place for us,

Time after time.

Time after time I think “Oh, Lord, what’s the use?”

“What is love?”

but You’re here, there’s nothing I fear.

Godspeed your love,

to me.
